Most people will probably remember at some time or other, playing the family board game Monopoly. The Monopoly slots are themed on that original game and so anyone who plays them will probably feel a little nostalgia whilst doing so. The board game was hugely popular and enjoyed by many a family, who will remember it fondly as being great fun. These slots successfully capture some of that same fun that many may have thought was gone for good. Although the slot machines cannot duplicate the old game exactly, in the bonus round there is featured a game board that is very reminiscent of that original board and the fun continues in the same way as the original game did.
The Board
Although the boards in these bonus rounds are smaller than the original ones, they still feature properties, chances, community chests, a free parking, jail and a go to jail. At the start of the round you will find out how many rolls of the dice you have for the round however this number may be increased by the chance or community chest if you land on one of them.
If you land on a property, the amount marked on that property is the amount that you win and instead of the chance or community chests awarding you extra rolls of the dice in the round, they could also award you a win or advancement around the board, to a win. In these bonus rounds there are no bad chance or community chest cards, only good ones and even the free parking will earn you a win. The jail though, as always, is bad. If you end up in jail you have to roll a double to get out and are allowed three attempts to do so, provided of course, that you have that many rolls left. If you run out of rolls or cannot get a double in the three rolls, the round is over.
There are several versions of the Monopoly Slots but the bonus rounds in each are played in the same way, it is just that the forms of wins are different, like some having jackpots and others not.
