Just as in the original family board game of Monopoly, when you reach the board in the bonus rounds on these slot machines, you have to roll the dice to determine how many squares you advance around the board. When you play Monopoly slots and reach the bonus round, you will first be required to roll the dice to discover how many rolls of the dice you will get to advance around the board and then you start to roll the dice and move the number shown by the dots on the dice.
Monopoly Board
As most people are probably familiar with the original board used in the household game, they will able to recognize the ones used in these bonus rounds as being a mini version of that original one. Squares marked with property names, utilities, chance and community chest are there, as are squares marked go, free parking, go to jail and jail. Landing on a property square or a utility will pay you the amount displayed on the square and all the chance and community chest cards are winners, unlike the original game there are no bad ones there. Free parking will even award you a win but landing on the go to jail still means that you have to go to jail.
If you end up in jail on these slots, just like the original game, you will be afforded three rolls in which to try and roll a double, if you have that many rolls left, but unlike the original game, you can’t buy yourself out if you fail to get a double. In these games, failing to roll a double whilst you are in jail will mean an end to the game.
Variety
These slot machines have become so popular that the producers have now been able to provide six different slot machines that are all based on the Monopoly game and although most of them are similar in the way they are played, they offer a variety in both the way they pay out and the amounts that they pay out.
